I'm trying to find out what the original finish was on 911sc calipers. Yes, I searched, but everything I found was about early cars or turbos.


SCs have M in back, A in front, right? I searched and found that M's were cad plated in the 70's... was that still the case in the 80's? I also heard the A's were silver, but I'm not sure is they were plated, coated, or what. Were they powder coated silver? Since I'm rebuilding some old, rusty calipers, I think it would be cool to make them look how they did when the car was new.
