Brake cleaner in the house must be hell to smell and hard on woodwork & paint. But I bet it works!
We have had two in the house in a dozen years or so. The first one was tiny. The dog ran over and started sniffing. She yelped but never had much of a reaction. I made the little bugger a lot flatter with my shoe.
