No, You will see on the firewall your heater hoses and the heater control valve with a cable in front of the drivers side.
There is a lever that opens and closes the coolant to the inside heater core.
Do not lose the cable clip!
If you see white deposits on the valve, lever or pivot (like my old one)---replace.
