machine bound is where the edges are finished with a thread as opposed to OEM finish which uses a vinyl edge.

Both are OK, one is not original - not an issue it you are not into uber originality.

I think Appbiz RS set comes vinyl edged.

Again comes down to how much you want to pay. Pay more carpet quality a fit and finish should be better. Domestic versus german carpet kits - no direct experience.
