Targa w/fiberglass widebody conversion may be priced the same if done to perfection, but worth less than stock to most people. Turbo body conversions were a fad in the 80's & 90's. Now most only do it if they have a 3.6 or turbo for power.
A factory widebody would be worth more than an aftermarket conversion
Many items to look out for. Best would be to try and narrow down the choices, and bring your favorite to a shop that specializes in older 911 (not a dealer) for an extensive pre-purchase inspection (PPI)
Buying the wrong car can easily cost you more than the car is worth to sort out problems.
