my question to you guys is

1/ price range for a targa that has a wide body conversion?

2/ would a factory wide body be priced more than a converted car?

3/ things to look out for in converted cars

there is one on the classifieds that is going for 20k which is nice to look at but man that is high i think especially if there turbos & other cars that for a little higher. or is this a fair price?

thanks guys

Wide body conversion can mean anything, metal or fiberglass, welded on flares or replaced whole fender panels...you need to understand what they did before assessing a value and it will never come close to a true widebody in value. In fact mods reduce the value of these cars sometimes.

The normally aspirated 911 engines that came after 1984 had EFI and modern engine management and vastly better power capability. The old 2.7 engines before the mid 70s are trouble.

You have a lot of homework to do before jumping on a 911 IMHO.
