I think it is still quite a cool bike, even if it does bear resemblance to a Confederate.
I always thought the transverse-V, which makes the driveline longitudinal, and lends to shaft-drive was a bit more interesting than the Harley-style arrangement, with big drive belts.
I like the BMW boxer driveline for the same reason, plus the full 180-degree, split-pin boxer arrangement that creates better balance and vibration cancellation.
