race seat fitment
Gents-
I want to pick up a fiberglass race seat, a la Corbeau FX Pro or Sparco 2000 for trackday use.
Does anyone have any pictures of race seats in a Boxster? I just want to get a feel for how they fit and look. The stock seats are about 50 lbs each, for trackdays I intend on removing the passenger seat and the drivers seat weighing about 20 lbs with mounts, making for a total loss of 80 lbs (significant).
Maybe boxster spec guys would know what seats/rails work well?
Most seats are very similar, but what rails to get is a much tougher question.
My other reason for wanting a different seat is to get lower in the car. I feel I sit up to high with the stock seat.
