For what it is worth, I think you will find that in the absence of documentation of condition and recent mechanical work, it will be a challenge to get close to $3500 unless you can sell it locally to someone who can inspect and test it in person. I bought the motor referenced above, after making a fair offer and waiting until the seller explored other opportunities. I think the price was fair to both of us.
