Usually I can tell immediately whether the Porsche driver in the other car will wave back, whether the car is another 944 or a new 996 or Boxster...
... first of all, they look like they're actually DRIVING the car instead of just wanting to BE SEEN in it. Porsche enthusiasts (or any car enthusiasts, for that matter), as opposed to Porsche snobs, have a certain LOOK about them. I can't really explain it, but some of you must know what I'm talking about... like my uncle... he is a 60-something car enthusiast and the first thing I would be able to tell about him was that he was a car nut, even if I didn't know anything about him. I don't know how else to explain it, I just know, and I've never been wrong...
