Shave. You can grow it back once you have the pic. Sideburns are ok as long as they aren't past the bottom of the ears. I would also get a hair cut that breaks up the hairline on the forehead a little better. Looks too much like a home made haircut with the help of a pot right now.
I know, you didn't ask about the hair cut.
Also, a light smile in the picture will be good - not teeth showing.
