Wow, there's a lot of engineering going on here. Nice! However, I took the simple rout.
I found an old/used computer desk on Freecycle, disassembled it, made a cockpit, mounted my wheel and pedals, then used an old 914 seat. Whole project took an hour, was free, and I've been using it since GP Legends was new!
