It happens. When I was using my 930 as a daily I had to pull it off the road for a transmission rebuild, it was disabled for 59 days as I waited for parts and fixed "while your in there" stuff while I had the drivetrain out. NA 911 parts are more common but during that time it became apparent that not many people are depending on these cars for transportation and lead time for getting parts can reflect that. I got lucky and bought the last pressure plate that KEP had in stock, if it weren't available I would have had to wait another 4-6 weeks for that part alone.
