I wanted a brand new classic car so I bought a project car during the worst part of the recession. (I was working out of town and making less $) She said she couldn't say no to me knowing how long I've wanted a 911. (It really was a good deal) It's been a year and a half since the project started and at this pace, it will be done in 5-6 years. To speed things up, I'm prodding her to buy a Mini Cooper. (That's what she wants) It should cut my timeline in half and I'll get to drive "her car" once in a while. Now if I can just convince her to get the six speed instead of the auto.
I'm afraid not to tell her the cost (a lesson I learned long ago) however I do tend to leave out the shipping charges.
