I also installed H&R springs on my 1999 (as well as my 2002). One issue I found was that the springs chattered/clunked mostly over speed bumps and the such. We thought it was some sort of clearance issue, but later found it to be the spring itself. The spring coils would hit each other and cause the clunking sound. We wrapped some clear tubing around the area and it went away.
