I'm looking to purchase a 964 and trying to ensure that I get a good, clean car. What should I expect to find under the front floor mats? What I see appears to be a rectangular area of some Styrofoam padding like substance that looks a bit age-rotted. The carpet does not cover this padding, only the floor mat. Is this appropriate for an otherwise clean, well maintained car? Any help/pics greatly appreciated.
