Are you having a problem with the hard lines or just the rubber portion? Interesting about not finding the connector, on my 88 951 it is located just about midway between the front edge of the passenger door and the rear of the wheel arch. It's a piece of blue fabric covered fuel line (similar to the line used from the fluid reservoir to the clutch master), not a threaded fitting.
