Those are solenoids, I'd say + goes to that centre nut (heavy gauge wire, direct from battery) between the two small nuts.
The black heavy cable is the ground.
The two small nuts are the two in/out + light gauge wires for the switch. Most likely the switch has a power wire to it and the solenoids ground (triggering the solenoid) when you engage the toggle.
The two outside nuts (in the pic), do they go into the motor? If they do I should be right.
