I'm updating 1982 non adjusting front shocks (probably the originals) to later adjustable type.
Originals were Boge, replacing with Boge.(I know Koni, or Bilstein better, but it's a cost thing)
I have the adjusters,I hav'nt stripped front suspension yet, (need to leave alone for a while so I can move car around the garage.)
Questions:
Is the early type lower spring perch re-useable?
There is a difference in shock part number early 928 343 055 04
late 928 333 055 09
Do I stick with the original ? or go with the later?
Is the upper spring retainer etc the same?
What are the differences between the two?
are they interchangeable?
