I welcome him but here is another example of why you should read Pete Z.'s book on buying a 911 - "The Used 911 Story".
Transmission needs rebuild, parts are $$ for proper 915 rebuilds now, a good DIY can run $2K and I doubt he is ready for that yet. A good shop will quickly double that. Engine issues? With no PPI it could be $100 or $15000.00 to make right.
