"what to do"......buy a good Honda, Toyota, Nissan, whatever, it's your choice. "where to go"....your favorite Honda, Toyota, etc. dealership in the DFW area. I've lived in Texas my entire 60+ years, owned Porsches and a little bit of everything else....you will spend a wheel barrow full of $$$ to get a decent AC in an air cooled Porsche and the Texas heat (especially in the stop/go traffic in the metromess) will kick your ass every time. My unsolicited .02 cents worth.
