It's been over 5 years, and I'm not having luck finding a confirmation email from the company that may have the part number or tooth count, but this is where I got mine and there is only one option for an '84 (which is what I have):
Odometer Gears
It says 20 large/outer teeth and 30 small/inner teeth. Sounds about right.
