Wow thanks for the replies Reaper! What do you mean with the 2 part construction?
Did you mount it with runners or straight to the floor?
Yesterday I met the seller at the Nurburgring to pick up my seat. He told me he got it a couple of years ago from one of Kremer's mechanics in a swap. The foam seems to have deteroriated on the seatback and bolsters, but the seatcushion is in good shape, as is the fabric cover.
Don't know if I'll have it restored or use like this.

P.S.: what's the going rate for original seats?
