I am on the hunt for a Carrera Targa for a first time 911 shopper. I am finding asking prices range from $14K up.

Typically the G50 cars are at $17.5K up, asking.

An original paint car with under 100K miles, $21K and up, asking.

Unfortunately, I do not have enough visibility into actual transactions to say what these cars are selling for. But a few G50s I've looked into with asking prices around $19K have sold...

On your black G50, I'd say $19-20 is the correct listing range. Oddly enough, Porsche owners are more sensitive to 100K+ mileage than people who have not previously owned 911s -- at least in my experience. So this community may not be your best venue for advertising...

I cannot advise on the tail. It's a matter of personal preference. The tail, if excellent, is worth around $800 by itself, so if you have a plain black lid to offer as an alternative to a prospect, that would cover you either way.
