I did exactly what you're talking about. Went to HD, bought a piece of 1/16x3 flat stock, mounted the factory slider to the corbeau (slight adjustment was necessary, IDK if you would need to add a hole to your slider...), drilled holes to fit the factory slider to the flat stock, mounted the slider to the seat, drilled holes in the flat stock to match the floor, mounted flat stock to the slider, bolted the whole kaboodle to the floor to the factory hardpoints using the factory hardware, ... job done.

Corbeau does sell the 924/944 adapter for factory sliders. About $100 IIRC. I think my parts, including flat stock and 8 M8 bolts, washers and stuff was maybe $25.
