This is a great photo of the kart I had in 1962, not my photo unfortunately. An Ala Kart Slingshot, with dual Macs. As sweet a ride as a 14 year old could ever hope for, and paid cash with savings from my paper route money. You could light up the rears easy, that thing was *****in as they used to say. After a few years of competition, we ended up burning the pistons with mis-adjusted carbs and pure nitro. That was the end of that ($!). Time to move on anyway..
