Dropped the 912 off for paint..Thoughts on potential changes.
Well,
The restoration has begun. The 68 was dropped off for bare metal stripping, repairs, and painting back to Ossi blue.
I was thinking (912 purist don't cringe) of filling in the side markers....and filling in the side deco trim. I think the 912 looks better without the side deco trim anyway and were the side markers really what Porsche wanted on their cars?
Of course in the end it's my car and I should do what I want, but was curious what others thought about deleting the deco side and reflectors.
Has anyone done this and if so do you have a photo?
I'll update as the car progresses.
