Our long haired dog is an outside dog.... The house would be full of hair, cat shiit, mud and stank if we allowed him inside. That said, I do let him sleep in the garage in the winter and I briefly considered installing a door for him to enter the garage.... Then one night he got sprayed by a skunk and I realized there is no way I want either a skunk or my dog after being sprayed by a skunk to enter at will into our semi finished garage.
