The Stage-1 will not hold 600ft-lb. If you have 600ft-lb, you'll need their Stage-II (quite stiff pedal) or a Sachs Race Engineering "934" pressure plate ($$$ but pedal effort comparable to stock).
As a direct bolt-in, the KEP Stage-I is a decent unit, light weight. We use them if someone wants to save money and doesn't t mind the pedal effort.
