I considered an LS3 which would lighten the car by about 200lbs. on the front end, but my son wanted to get the shortblock we had out of the basement and keep it pursang, so we went that route. Just a few more things to hook back up and one of them is the battery, then turning that key!! I am on Old Hwy 16 near "Lowesville". Don't know of any cheap complete engines, but I assume yours has the seized crankshaft/thrust bearing disease?
