I used a kit from Eastwood. It was a can of basically liquid wax and came with a flexible spray tube that attaches to a gun you connect to your air compressor. The tip is about 1/4" in diameter so it fits into many tight spaces. The nozzle has holes pointing in all directions to get in all the crevasses.
Works great and didn't cost much.
