I'll try and get a pic - its the molding that runs all along the upper portion of the door (the frame around the window - not the pillar). At the most rearward portion it actually encircles the door lock (the post, not the knob). Sorry - I could have/(SHOULD have) been more clear the first time.
The vinyl has started to peel off the plastic backing (the part that clips INTO the door frame), and is hanging down across my window...
I would also imagine that its worth the effort to remove the old adhesive - acetone, perhaps?
