To me a Cougar is a woman that seeks out men around half her age for the soul purpose of sex, relationships are usually limited to short flings.
If a guy wants a cougar, he is best to dress nice, head to a bar and flirt shamelessly with everyone woman that appears to be in the appropriate age range.
As far as survival, I've never had an issue surviving a woman...
