I've never driven anything but the lightweight flywheel on the 911, but based on other Porsches I've driven you can take it down the road a bit and as you upshift push in the clutch and instead of shifting, watch the tach..if it drops much and rebounds (or even cuts off) you might have a lightweight flywheel.
