john, that cover is type specific for the type of plate on the lower firewall where the shift rod enters the car, and if an early car has been coverted to s.s. the hole the rod passes through in the cover is in the wrong place due to the offset/ pivot point. the diff is apparent with early on the left and a late on the right. if you should ever be driving down 512 on a sat stop by. do you do the puyallup shows?
