The price seems fair for a c2 with 130k considering the top end. $7k is a reasonable price for top end. Bottom end is robust, you shouldn't too much about it. 993's are great, but more complex cars than the older t-bar cars. 17 years and 125k miles could mean lots more to invest if the car has not been maintained. Insist on good documentation.

You could get a much, much lower mileage car for mid-30's. There are lots of really good cars out there. Do your best not to get caught up in the emotion of it. If needed, pay someone knowledgeable to go with you and be a voice of reason.
