The Comp 2 appears to be an updated version of the G-Force Sport that has been available for a few years. I've had a few sets of those including the ones on my current 911 and have been very pleased with them. They are great in the rain and have a good tread life for what BFG considers a "Summer" tire.
They aren't uber-sticky like Michelin Pilot Sports but they probably last twice as long. IMO the BFG's are a great choice for a street-only 911 and they look "right" on a '80's Porsche.
