At night, lift the hood and run the engine when it's warm and see if you can see any of the ignition wires sparking or the coil while in the dark. Sometimes, with high compression engines and the fuel we have available to use today, it is hard to jump the gap at the sparkplug and a little dirt and oil on a poor cable will discharge to spark to ground. You might see evidence of this during the test.
