I would set up a have-a-heart trap with a piece of fish in it. I would set it at elevation (where climbing is needed) to keep the skunks out of it. You'll have your offender(s) in a week or less, guaranteed.

Of course this is probably not legal in your jurisdiction - most places do not allow private property owners to catch animals on their property and re-locate them (elsewhere on this earth or into Nirvana).
