I agree on all of the above stuff. Know your car and it's limitations. Especially in different weather conditions. I once had a nasty incident with my 951 as well. Kinda moist weather, not raining, doing a nice 65mph in a steady, very long 270 degrees corner on a highway juntion. At the 'apex' if there was any in that huge turn, i applied some power and the rear wheels started sliding and kept on doing that quite a time, but i only had to steer into it and everything came to nice straightforward ride again. Though, doing a powerslide at 65mph with not too much 951-experience was something that really got me thinking.
a) What a great handling car
b) Lucky with them nice Dunlop 255 3000Sports on the rear that kept me going in a nice slide and eventually in a straight line
c) How stupid are you to do that corner at 65 mph when 40 is advised, especially when it's moist. Slap in the face is what i deserved and got
