I had one in my car, it was about smaller than my fist and it did its job almoust... it was a soaking wet too as the carpet
I would recommend the heater because it is fast and direct heat.. I used it to blow the heat directly to the wet carpet so the heat will vaporize the water and moisture..
I had to use it for four weeks because it taked that long to get the hole carpet to dry..
and when I putted it to blow directly to wet carpet, I could see the mist forming to sideglasses in about 5 to 10 minutes
Thats why I opened the tailgate.
Btw. I used ac heater..
Edit: remember to leave good gap between the carpet and the heater and support the heater too!!!
Or it could burn your carpet or your hole car
