We fabricated a quarter inch steel plate that bolts into the 4 bolts just below the flywheel. this plate is roughly 10 inches tall and about 8 inches wide and we cut the Porsche Z shaped mounts that go to the beam that connects to the mounts on the right and left of the engine compartment. The Z shaped mounts were bolted to the beam and welded to the plate we fabricated. I will put pictures up soon. They will explain and show what I am talking about much better than I can.

We also had to cut the tin that covers the flywheel and farther back to the rear of the car because the VW motor is shaped different. We created angle iron to keep the tin from sagging in the back and creating a gap between the seal and the tin.

Hope that helps. Pictures coming soon.
