The NSX looks very dated with the hidden headlights and the 90s supercar styling. You can say what you want about the 993, but the 911 shape, especially with the old style roof and hood is timeless. I also think the NSX is a bit anemic in many aspects - skinny tires, power, I can't help but think it generally looks like a toned down version of a hot car (think MR2 or Fiero).
If I'd get a 90s hidden headlight mid-engine car, it would have to be a Ferrari or Lambo. Not the same price class, but at least you'd get the real deal.
