I lived in Prescott for eight years, love the town and area. Back in the nineties some magazine (Money, I think..?) voted Prescott "Best Place to Retire". After that the town exploded and started to change. LOTS of retirees, mostly from California. Still a great place but the population explosion changed the character of the place.
