Now that I have learned that the OP was a copy / paste from Craigslist and not his account of events we can discuss vasectomies in general. (Comes up every year like clockwork).
Doug's example is extreme. But I am with him on this one. I know more than one guy without bullets that ended up divorced and with a younger wife that wanted a family. That's NOT fun! If you are in your mid to late 40s and have a 10 year younger partner, you can still raise a couple kids just fine.
I have seen women talk about vasectomies and their viewpoints haven't sold me on the idea either. It isn't all about hopping in the sack without worries, to say the least. It'd be great to get a couple of our PPOT women to chime in - can someone PM them.
