Fuel Injector Rebuild
One of my winter project concerned cleaning my 25 year old fuel injectors on my 1988 924S. I ordered the rebuild kit from Pelican which consists of 3 O rings, a spacer and a plastic cap to protect the nozzle or tip. This is the kit that Pelican recommends for my car as well as many other Porsche parts suppliers.
Upon inspection, the cap in the kit is slightly taller and the spacer is a little wider than the original parts on the stock fuel injectors. When assembled, the result is the nozzle of the fuel injector sits slightly recessed in the cap. My concern is this could affect the spray. I can do a test, any other suggestions?
