My double roller bearing was ok, plastic flanges was in place yet, but the mixture inside the bearing was a heavy mix between oil and grease.
Also, they was a lot of oil inside the shaft in the rear side of the roller bearing.
So, I advise to 986/996 , and 987/997 owners if possible, to proceed to this replacement.
Regarding the price of an engine, the price of the kit is very reasonable.
