16x7s all around with 205s in the front and 225s in the rear work on my 73 but the fenders are rolled. FYI not all tires are created equally. I bought a set of 225 Hoosiers that would not fit safely and they are, by my highly calibrated eyeball, a full inch wider than other 225s...
My current favorite though are these:
Falken Azenis RT-615K
Which come in a 215 that might work well for you too.
