I use coil over allrouond and lowered my S2 by about 35mm. I kept the rear torsion bars as is but reindexed them by one notch so maths calculation where kept minimal. One notch on one side drops the car by 2 inch and can be done easier as you don't have to remove the bars from the car. With 2 inch lowered at the rear, coilover can then be used to raise the car back a bit and still have it lowered and sitting on stiffer overall springs. I use 10.5 inch, 225lb spring at the front and 9inch 160lb springs at the rear and is fine for road use. I will need stiffer springs for competition use.
I would say going 250lb springs at the front without doing anything at the rear will be bad choice. Would go max to 175lb springs at front without altering the rear.
