I wanted to update you on the windshield on my 997. This car is a CPO car and the argument was that the glass had a defect in it. In my case, it wasn't pitting. The dealer tried to polish it twice by two different vendors. They ended up replacing the glass - they said it was rare and CPO normally doesn't pay for glass.
